Ammo Cans Fat 50 Ammo Can Used

Excellent condition used US Military Issue Fat 50 PA108 spec ammo cans originally used for the M249 SAW machine gun ammo. The PA-108 size metal ammo cans are affectionately referred to as the "Fat 50" since they are a couple inches wider and a little taller than a traditional M2A1 "50 cal" size ammo can. The slightly larger size of the Fat 50 ammo can makes them more versatile as a waterproof storage solution than the smaller ammo can variants, and highly sought after. Most of the PA108 Fat 50 ammo cans are labeled for 800 rounds of 5.56mm M27 tracer ammunition in yellow stencil font but specific lettering and appearance will vary based on production lot. The cans are used in good to excellent condition but may have minor handling wear, or slight surface rust in the pivot points in rare instances from long-term storage. PA108 Fat 50 ammo cans are much harder to find than M2A1 50 cal ammo cans and are available in limited quantity while supplies last. Pick some up while you can!
